Speed is one thing; a line that keeps dropping is another. Keep this tab open and we’ll check your connection every few seconds and log every dropout — the proof you need when your ISP says it’s stable.
Reading the timeline
Each bar is one check — green means your line answered, red means it didn’t. A stable connection is a wall of green; clusters of red are real dropouts, timestamped and exportable. For the fairest test, run this on a device plugged into the router by cable — Wi-Fi can drop even when the line is fine, and fixing slow Wi-Fi is a different job.
If you’re logging genuine, repeated dropouts, that’s a fault your ISP has to fix — export the CSV and raise it (our ISP-complaint guide covers the ICASA route). If it keeps happening, it may be time to switch — see the best-rated ISPs.
