TT Connect knows exactly who it serves: the east of Johannesburg, and only the east, and it keeps things refreshingly simple with uncapped-only plans.
The story behind TT Connect
Based in Boksburg, TT Connect is an open-access network operator concentrated on the East Rand. It positions itself as the leading fibre network in that corridor and builds last-mile fibre to homes and businesses for ISPs to sell over.
How TT Connect works
TT Connect is an open-access network: it owns and maintains the fibre in the ground, but it doesn't sell you the internet directly. Instead, several independent ISPs ride the same line, and you choose which one to buy from, and you can switch ISP later without a new installation. That's why our coverage check shows the network at your address, then lets you compare the ISP packages on it by real monthly price.
Where TT Connect reaches
Coverage runs broadly from Bedfordview through to Benoni, taking in parts of Edenvale, Kempton Park, Boksburg and Benoni. It’s a tightly focused footprint rather than a national one.
Speeds & signing up
Notably, TT Connect runs uncapped, symmetrical tiers only, from around 30 Mbps up to 1 Gbps, through ISPs including Afrihost, MWEB, Axxess and Webafrica. Check your address to compare.
Common questions
Is the installation free?
A standard install (a set length of trenching plus the modem) is typically free, with a per-metre charge beyond that, confirm the current terms when you order.
